Heavy Duty Curtain Wall Notching Saw is a professional heavy-duty cutting machine engineered exclusively for aluminum curtain wall, skylight, and facade profile end notching, angle cutting, and joint processing. It adopts a dual-saw-blade synchronous cutting design, integrating ±45° arbitrary angle cutting, end notching, and groove milling in one machine. With a heavy-duty cast iron body and high-precision linear guide motion system, it delivers stable performance and high efficiency for mass production of mullions, transoms, and connection brackets in unitized and stick curtain walls. Our Lebulang Brand is China Manufacturer.
This dual-blade CNC notching saw is built for cutting notches, grooves, and compound angles in aluminum curtain wall profiles, mullions, transoms, and architectural extrusions. Two 2.2 kW motors drive a pair of Φ550 mm carbide saw blades at 2800 rpm, with each blade swinging ±45° under digital readout control. A hydro-pneumatic feeding system advances the blade set at an adjustable speed of 0–3 m/min, and pneumatic clamps secure the workpiece from vertical and horizontal directions. The welded steel and cast iron frame undergoes vibration aging treatment to maintain stability under continuous cutting loads.

Features
Machine Frame
The Heavy Duty Curtain Wall Notching Saw is constructed with a thick-walled welded steel structure and a cast iron beam. The assembly is vibration-aged before machining, a process intended to relieve internal stress and reduce the likelihood of deformation over time. The resulting stability under cutting loads helps maintain consistent notch geometry during extended production runs.
Dual Saw Blades
Two Φ550 mm carbide-tipped blades, each driven by a 2.2 kW motor at 2800 rpm, provide the cutting action. Both blades can be set to swing ±45°, enabling notching and compound angle cuts on curtain wall profiles without changing tooling. The blade diameter and tooth geometry are selected for aluminum cutting, aiming for a burr-free finish that typically does not require secondary polishing.
Digital Display Control
A magnetic scale digital readout shows the cutting angle and worktable height in real time. Positioning accuracy is specified at ±0.1 mm. The operator sets the desired angle using the digital display, and the blade positions are adjusted accordingly, providing a reference for repeatable setups across production batches.
Pneumatic Clamping
Vertical and horizontal pneumatic fixtures, supplied with 0.5–0.8 MPa air pressure, hold the aluminum profile during the cutting cycle. The clamping force is distributed to secure the workpiece without marking the surface. Clamping and release are controlled through the machine's cycle sequence.
Hydro-Pneumatic Feeding
The blade feed uses a hydro-pneumatic system with an adjustable speed range of 0–3 m/min. The controlled feed rate helps avoid profile deformation and blade binding, particularly when cutting thicker or larger cross-section curtain wall extrusions.
Safety and Environmental Protection
A full-coverage safety enclosure with transparent panels surrounds the cutting zone. An emergency stop button, overload protection, and anti-collision sensors are included. A built-in mist cooling system reduces cutting heat and dust, keeping the immediate work area cleaner and meeting standard workshop safety requirements.
How It Works
The operator places the aluminum profile onto the worktable and activates the pneumatic clamps, which secure the workpiece from both vertical and horizontal directions.
The desired cutting angle is set using the magnetic scale digital display, and the dual saw blades are positioned accordingly within the ±45° range.
The hydro-pneumatic feed system advances the spinning blades into the profile at a controlled rate (0–3 m/min), cutting notches, grooves, or compound angles in a single pass.
The CNC system supports CAD graphic import and graphic programming, allowing operators to define notch patterns, hole positions, and slot dimensions directly from design files.
The three-axis full servo motor configuration (X, Y, Z axes driven by rack and pinion and ball screws) enables true three-axis linkage for drilling, milling grooves, round holes, special-shaped holes, key holes, and countersinks in one clamping.
An optional three-sided flip worktable allows the profile to be machined on three faces without repositioning, improving processing efficiency for complex aluminum extrusions.
After the cutting cycle completes, the blades retract, the clamps release, and the machined profile is removed.

FAQ
Q1: What is the maximum profile size this machine can process?
A: The standard model handles profiles up to 300×250 mm with a maximum cutting depth of 175 mm. Custom configurations for larger sections up to 350×300 mm are available on request.
Q2: Can it cut angles other than ±45°?
A: The standard model supports arbitrary angle cutting within ±45° on both sides. An optional CNC version extends the range to ±90° for more complex profile geometries.
Q3: What is the processing accuracy?
A: Positioning accuracy is specified at ±0.1 mm, with repeat positioning accuracy of ±0.05 mm under consistent operating conditions.
Q4: Do you provide after-sales service and training?
A: Free online operation training and remote technical support are provided. On-site training and installation can be arranged separately. A 12-month warranty applies, with lifetime technical support available.
Q5: Is the machine suitable for mass production?
A: The dual-blade synchronous cutting, pneumatic clamping, and controlled feed system are designed for continuous production in curtain wall fabrication facilities. Monthly production capacity from the factory is approximately 50 sets.
