This Double Mitre Saw for Window Frame Production, built at Lebulang Machine’s China factory where aluminum and PVC processing equipment has been manufactured for close to three decades, cuts profiles at 45° and 90° for window, door, and curtain wall fabrication. It processes aluminum, PVC, UPVC, thermal break, and copper extrusions. Two cutting heads — T1 fixed and T2 motorized — sit on a shared precision guide rail and can operate simultaneously, with the right head moved by a servo drive for length positioning.
An integrated cast workbench and direct-connected spindle motors form the core structure. Each saw head is powered by a 3 kW motor spinning a ø500 mm carbide-tipped blade at 3000 rpm. Pneumatic clamps secure the workpiece, and an air-hydraulic damping cylinder controls the feed. The welded steel frame and cast iron base work together with HIWIN linear rails and Schneider electric components to keep repeated fixed-length accuracy within ±0.1 mm and cutting surface roughness at Ra 12.5 µm. Maximum cutting length is 5000 mm, with a short-cutting function that reaches down to 200 mm. At 45° the section capacity is 150 × 170 mm; at 90° it handles 150 × 345 mm, including square tubes up to 150 × 200 mm.
A fully enclosed safety guard, emergency stop, and overload protection are standard. A dedicated chip extraction and vacuum system captures around 70% of debris, and a patented rotary lifting support bracket prevents profile sag at mid-span. Data can be imported via LAN, USB, Bluetooth, or manual input, and the control system interfaces with common optimization software. A label printer and an error prevention function — which blocks cutting when a profile falls outside tolerance — are also built in. The machine runs on a 380V three-phase supply and requires 0.6–0.8 MPa air pressure.
