The CNC Thermal Break Aluminum Knurling Inserting Machine combines knurling and strip insertion for thermal break aluminum profiles in one CNC-controlled cycle. A multi-axis servo system governs cutter positioning through an LCD touchscreen that stores over 200 profile programs for instant recall, holding tooth depth and pitch within ±0.1 mm. Hardened steel knurling wheels with a diameter of 90 mm are driven by a 1.5 kW motor, and the feed speed is steplessly adjustable from 0 to 90 m/min via an inverter drive.
The welded steel frame carries HIWIN linear rails and Schneider electric components. Knurling heads can be shifted vertically through 0–250 mm and horizontally through 0–125 mm, accommodating profile sections up to 220 × 250 mm. Pneumatic clamps secure the workpiece during processing, while protective covers and emergency stop buttons form the safety circuit.
