220×250mm Heavy Duty Thermal Break Profile Knurling Machine is a core processing machine for thermal break aluminum profiles. It creates uniform serrated grooves inside the profile channels to dramatically increase friction and shear strength between aluminum and polyamide thermal strips, preventing separation and ensuring long-term structural stability. This heavy-duty knurling machine prepares thermal break aluminum profiles for strip insertion, processing sections up to 220 mm wide by 250 mm high. Two 1.5 kW motors drive a pair of hardened steel knurling cutters, each 90 mm in diameter. The feed rate is continuously adjustable from 6 to 70 meters per minute through an inverter drive, letting operators match speed to profile cross-section and production volume. Knurling depth remains uniform because the support wheels can be raised or lowered through a 0–20 mm range, compensating for height variations in the extrusion.


Cutter positioning is handled by motorized axes combined with fine-adjustment handwheels, covering both vertical and horizontal directions. This arrangement cuts changeover time when switching profile types and makes it practical to run smaller batches without sacrificing setup repeatability. The frame is a welded steel structure, and motion components ride on Taiwan HIWIN linear rails with Schneider electrics in the control circuit — a combination that helps maintain stable tool engagement and low vibration during high-speed runs.
