2m Vertical Insulating Glass Washing Machine

Designed for precision and reliability, this 2-meter vertical IG washer dryer delivers crystal-clear glass cleaning for insulating glass production. The machine combines three pairs of soft brushes, a stainless steel washing chamber, and an intelligent temperature-controlled drying system. Compatible with Low-E and tempered glass, it integrates seamlessly into any automatic insulating glass line.

Supplied by Lebulang Machine, whose Jinan, China factory has produced window, door, and glass processing equipment since 1996, the Automatic Washing Drying Press Line for Insulated Glass is CE and ISO 9001 certified and available factory-direct with OEM/ODM support.This 2m vertical insulating glass washing machine is engineered for the critical pre-processing stage of IGU manufacturing. With a maximum processing width of 2000mm, it features a high-pressure washing section with soft brushes specifically designed for Low-E glass, followed by a high-efficiency hot-air drying system. Its vertical structure saves floor space while ensuring spotless, moisture-free glass surfaces ready for spacer assembly

Line Configuration & Workflow

The Automatic Washing Drying Press Line for Insulated Glass is arranged as a straight-flow production line consisting of four interconnected stations. Glass sheets enter at the loading end and pass sequentially through each section:

  • Loading and inspection section: Glass panes are placed manually or by loader onto the input conveyor. Optical sensors detect glass presence, dimensions, and coated surfaces before feeding into the washing zone.
  • Washing and rinsing section: Rotating nylon brushes with adjustable pressure scrub both glass surfaces. Fresh water or recirculated water is sprayed through flat-jet nozzles, followed by a demineralized water rinse to prevent mineral residue.
  • Drying section: Heated air is blown through air knives positioned above and below the glass path. The air knife gap adjusts to glass thickness automatically. A closed-loop heating system recirculates and reheats the air to maintain drying efficiency while managing energy consumption.
  • Assembly and press section: The aluminum spacer frame, pre-filled with desiccant and coated with primary seal, is positioned on the glass pane. The second glass pane is aligned pneumatically. The servo-driven press brings the panes together at a controlled rate. Argon filling can be performed in this section through a probe inserted between the panes before final pressing.
